Mr. Del Toro was born in Alice, TX and raised in Corpus Christi. He graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Government and obtained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the Texas Tech University School of Law.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Del Toro served as prosecutor for the Dallas City and District Attorney’s office where he became a chief prosecutor. As a chief prosecutor, Mr. Del Toro managed a team of assistant prosecutors and over 5,000 active criminal cases. His experience as an assistant district attorney and defense attorney contributes to his knowledgeable background in criminal law. Mr. Del Toro’s trial and courtroom experience has allowed him to have over 50 jury trials. His primary focus centers on the area of felony criminal charges, and misdemeanor charges including: sexual assault, burglary, possession of a controlled substance, DWI, assault, and domestic violence.
